The Shuswap Day Care Society is licensed to accommodate children in the following programs:

  • 12 – Infant & Toddlers staff ratio 1:4 (6 months to 3 years)
  • 24 – 3-5 yr old’s / Pre-School Program (Daycare) staff ratio 1:8 (30 months to 5 years)
  • 20 – Out of School staff ratio 1:10 (5 – 12 years)
  • 20 – Pre School staff ratio 1:10 classes Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday 9:00am – 11:30am (3 to 5 years)

Days and Hours of Operation:

Shuswap Day Care is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm.

Shuswap Pre-School operates from September – June Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 11:30am

Shuswap Out of School Program is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 5:30pm on School closure days and 2:00pm – 5:30pm on School days.

Shuswap Day Care Society (all programs) Is Closed the Following Days:

  • Week long Closure in August dates announced yearly
